How do I change my home currency?
Go to Settings (gear icon) and tap on "Home Currency" to select your preferred currency.
Why isn't my location being detected?
Make sure you've granted location permissions to TravelRates in your device settings. You can also enable IP-based detection as an alternative in Settings.
Does the app work offline?
Yes! TravelRates caches exchange rates so you can convert currencies even without an internet connection. Rates are updated when you're back online.
How often are exchange rates updated?
Exchange rates are fetched in real-time when you open the app and have an internet connection.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. TravelRates collects no personal data. Everything is stored locally on your device. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.
